‘Ghosted’ Becomes Apple TV+’s Biggest Debut Ever

The action comedy reunited ‘Grey Man’ actors Chris Evans and Ana de Armas.

A difficult task is balancing an action comedy. Particularly when romance is involved, but the most recent Apple TV+ movie Ghosted was a unique example of its sort, straddling the difficult tightrope of tone with surprisingly little difficulty. According to recent reports, the Chris Evans and Ana de Armas movie, which was helmed by Dexter Fletcher of Rocketman, had the greatest Apple TV+ launch ever.

328,500 people watched Ghosted in its first two days after its April 21 release. These statistics, according to Samba TV, are said to have risen when the movie entered its first week of wide release on Monday and Tuesday. Ghosted outperforms its streaming competitors when compared to other Apple TV+ movies. This includes Tetris (88,000 views), My Mind & Me (78,100 views), Finch (228,000), Spirited (174,000), and other Apple TV+ film premieres. This does not imply that 328,500 homes watched the entire movie, however, as the Samba TV data were derived from 3.1 million smart TVs that at least briefly screened Ghosted.
