The Extraction 2 trailer has been made available on Netflix before the June 16 release of the action sequel. Tyler Rake, played by Chris Hemsworth, will appear in it once more.
According to the summary, Rake is back as an Australian black operations mercenary who has been given another lethal mission: rescuing the injured family of a vicious Georgian mafia from the jail where they are being held. Rake barely made it through the first movie’s events.
The movie is directed by Sam Hargrave, while Joe Russo, a former screenwriter, penned the script. Hemsworth, Tinatin Dalakishvili, Golshifteh Farahani, Tornike Gogrichiani, Adam Bessa, Daniel Bernhardt, and Olga Kurylenko are among the actors who appear in the film. Hemsworth is behind it, as well as Anthony and Joe Russo, the Avengers: Endgame producers.
A small boy who becomes a pawn in a drug lord fight was featured in the original movie, which was set in an underworld of weapons dealers and traffickers. It received positive reviews, with reviewers praising its action sequences. With 90 million households watching it, it was the most-watched movie on Netflix in its first month.
